ANCIENT STONE OF HIGH ARTISTIC VALUE

The Sabucina stone is known and appreciated all over the world for its peculiar aesthetic and material features and can be used in several architectural environments and for diverse purposes, including artistic ones: it is in fact traditionally used in the creation of magnificent buildings, sculptures and monuments, both civil and religious, in central Sicily. Even recently, its characteristics have been employed for the renovation of important historic and artistic buildings: the Cathedral of Noto, the Castle of Syracuse and the ancient walls of Carlentini.
